HelloSolo time tracking connects directly to your projects and invoices.

Quick timer

The fastest way to track time:

  1. 1Find the Quick Timer at the top of your dashboard
  2. 2Select a project from the dropdown
  3. 3Click Start to begin tracking
  4. 4Click Stop when you're done
  5. 5The entry is automatically saved

Manual entry

If you forgot to start the timer:

  1. 1Go to your project page
  2. 2Click Log Time
  3. 3Enter the date, duration, and description
  4. 4Save

From time to invoice

When creating an invoice:

  1. 1Select the client and project
  2. 2Click Import Time Entries
  3. 3Choose which entries to include
  4. 4Line items are auto-generated with descriptions and hours

Tips

  • Use descriptive notes so clients understand what they're paying for
  • Review time entries weekly to catch any missed hours
  • The dashboard shows your total tracked hours for the period
