Quick timer
The fastest way to track time:
- 1Find the Quick Timer at the top of your dashboard
- 2Select a project from the dropdown
- 3Click Start to begin tracking
- 4Click Stop when you're done
- 5The entry is automatically saved
Manual entry
If you forgot to start the timer:
- 1Go to your project page
- 2Click Log Time
- 3Enter the date, duration, and description
- 4Save
From time to invoice
When creating an invoice:
- 1Select the client and project
- 2Click Import Time Entries
- 3Choose which entries to include
- 4Line items are auto-generated with descriptions and hours
Tips
- Use descriptive notes so clients understand what they're paying for
- Review time entries weekly to catch any missed hours
- The dashboard shows your total tracked hours for the period
